By Plane:
In most cases it is best to arrive at Frankfurt
airport and then take the train
to Bamberg (train ride approx. 2 ½ hours; train connections download
 .At Frankfurt airport there are separate railway stations for national trains and the urban underground system (U-Bahn), also connecting to the main railway station in the centre of the city. From any of these you can take trains via Wuerzburg to Bamberg. They are leaving approx. every hour. Also coming in through Munich
airport is easy: Take the express shuttle, which reaches the
central railway station of Munich in 20 minutes. From there you can catch
a train to Bamberg. There is one every 90 minutes. Total duration of the

Arriving at Nuremberg
airport you can take the underground
(line U2) or a taxi (about. EUR 15) to the central railway station. A taxi ride from Nuremberg airport directly to Bamberg will take about an hour and will cost from EUR 65 to EUR 80. We are happy to organize individual transport for you from any airport in Germany, if you wish. The costs for that service are, e.g. from Nuremberg EUR 69, from Munich or Frankfurt EUR 240, from Frankfurt-Hahn EUR 365. Prices for other airports are available upon request. |

By train:
Direct railway connections to Bamberg are available from Frankfurt, Nuremberg,

By car: Bamberg
can be easily reached from the south on the motorways A9/A73, from the
west on the motorways A3/A70/B505 and from the north & east on the motorways
A9 or A7/A70:

Where to find us:
The school is located in the
Hauptwachstraße 19. From the train station it is about 15 minutes
by foot, from the ZOB (Zentraler Omnibus Bahnhof = central bus station)
about 3 minutes. You can reach us in the school daily from 8.30 am until
1.30 pm and in the afternoons from 2.15 to 6.00 pm. However we would like
to ask you to arrange a meeting in advance over the phone 0951 2083040.
In case there is no answer, please leave a message and we will call you
back.

ONE LAST BUT IMPORTANT REQUEST: If you have booked accommodation with a family or sharing an apartment with others, please arrange your trip in such a way, that you are not going to arrive later than about 8 pm in Bamberg. Otherwise we would like to ask you to book a hotel room for the first night. | |||
